Cartoon I love:

Although I love Family Guy and American Dad (Roger. I mean, come on.) I think this probably means kids cartoon. The animated Batman series is a favorite but I think Spongebob takes the cake. That show was on constantly at my house growing up and I can still watch it now. It is so weird and funny and surprisingly adult at times. It will always be a favorite that I look on fondly.

What is your favorite song right now?

Feel It Still by Portugal. The Man. Everything about this song. I could listen to it on repeat and never get tired of it.

What could you do for hours that isn’t reading?

I am a huge fan of art journaling and I get lost in the process. Hours can pass before I realize it. Second to that is being in nature. I can do that all day, every day.

What is something you love that your readers would be surprised by?

I’m not sure I have any surprising secret loves, I am a huge fan of thrifting. There is something so fun about finding a treasure in the forgotten corner of some old store. I love it.

What is your favorite specific unnecessary thing to learn about?

I think the correct answer is “all the things”. I am full of completely useless facts about all kinds of things. It is really embarrassing how many of my sentences start with “did you know…”. In fact, my husband and brother-in-law have taken to affectionately calling me “Mosby” (yes, after Ted Mosby from HIMYM) because I’m a dork.

What is something unusual you know how to do?

Again, these things aren’t “unusual” but I am pretty good with basic first aid stuff. I kind of have an instinct for it and tend to be the first one to jump in when someone needs help. I am also an accomplished equestrian (me in the photo. wink.). I used to be an eventer and I am a bit out of practice but I can still ride pretty well.

What have you made in the past year?

I have been working in an art journal. It isn’t complete yet, but it is coming along nicely. I have tailored and restructured some thrift store clothes. And I have been working on my novel.

What is something you think about often when looking out a window?

Usually I am daydreaming. Thinking about a book I just read or great show I just watched. Sometimes brainstorming book ideas.

What is your favorite specific something.

My favorite ice cream flavor of all time is cookies and cream. I never get another flavor.

The first thing that pops into your head:

This is kind of cheating but I am listening to music and the song I am listening to was in 22 Jump Street. I am thinking how Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are the comedy team we needed and deserved. A+.
